Night time Parfait, anyone?

is well-known for its late opening hours and exquisite parfaits, located a stone’s throw away from bustling street of Izakayas, it does seem like a secret hideout for those with a sweet tooth. The tinkerbell special was beautiful but also delicious, a nice tangy sorbet, fresh cuts of citrus and some white chocolate never hurt anyone. I also tried the Pistachio + Chocolate combo which was not only the safest bet, but also my favouriteʕ •ᴥ•ʔ

is a lively restaurant that’s bustling with people on a weekend, you see couples and families here happily devouring paellas and tapas. We came for the set lunch course which was a mere ¥3090, almost unfathomable in this prime location so we braced ourselves for perhaps less satisfactory food or service. To our pleasant surprise the food was delicious and way above par, the tapas were of a nice variety, the ajillo piping hot and plenty, and the paella a nice tasty finish. The crust of this paella was the cherry on top (｡･ω･｡)ﾉ

Tucked away in Shimbashi this tiny tiny store is usually for takeouts, but caters to 2 diners who are willing to sit here. The fish were so fresh, and the add-on uni was just ¥500 so I indulged. With a miso soup and a decent amount of toppings, I highly recommend stopping by for takeout if you’re working in the shimbashi area.

is a lovely one-woman-run spot with a calm, minimalist interior and a really chill vibe in the heart of Roppongi. Enjoying a well-made matcha here feels slow, thoughtful, and relaxing, the kind of place you want to sit in a little longer and unwind (´▽｀)
