Let's cook Ehomaki🙌
👨🍳A cute twist on classic Ehomaki- great for kids and celebrations! Fill it with anything you like.
🍴Ingredients
For the filling 🐟🥑
-Canned Tuna: 100 g
-Avocado (diced) : 1 piece (100 g)
-Mayonnaise: 30 g
-PIETRO Dressing SHOYU: 30 mL
For the thin omelet 🍳
-Egg: 2 (1 egg per thin omelet sheet)
-Vegetable Oil: As needed
-Roasted Seaweed (Nori) : As needed
PIETRO Dressing SHOYU: 10mL
For the rice and toppings 🍚
-Cooked Rice: 80g x 2
-Roasted Seaweed (Nori) : 2
-Cucumber … 1/8 piece x 2
-PIETRO Dressing SHOYU: As needed
For the carrot rapée🥕
-Carrot: 1
-Salt: A pinch
-PIETRO Dressing SHOYU: 30 mL
🍳Preparation: Have all the ingredients ready.
🥕Carrot Rapée (Carrot Salad) 🥕
Peel and slice the carrot. Add a pinch of salt, gently massage it, and let it sit for about 10 mins.
Squeeze out the excess moisture using a paper towel, add the dressing and mix well. Refrigerate before serving.
🐟️Tuna and Avocado filling🥑
Place the tuna, avocado, mayonnaise, and dressing in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
🍳How to cook
1. Make the “oni pants–pattern thin omelet.”
Crack the eggs into a bowl, add the dressing, and mix well.
Cut the roasted nori into thin strips to resemble a tiger pattern.
2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat with a little vegetable oil.
Pour in half of the egg mixture from step 1 and spread it evenly.
Turn off the heat once, arrange the cut nori strips on top,
then heat again until the egg is fully cooked.
Remove it from the pan.
3. Place the thin omelet from step 2 on a sheet of plastic wrap with the tiger pattern facing down.
On top of it, add the nori for topping, spread the rice, drizzle with dressing, then add cucumber, carrot rapee, and the tuna-avocado filling.
👨🍳For a clean finish, trim or fold in any part of the egg that extends past the nori.
