I was gifted one of those fancy looking heirloom tomatoes. Sliced then sprinkeld with salt and pepper.

Super yummy! Sweeter than most tomatoes. Good enough to be eaten on its own. May have to start looking for these from now on.

Lamb skewers. Steamed fish. Vegetables. Leftovers.

Another win at ginger milk pudding.

Had to run an errand so I got lunch nearby.

Is it me or it's not as good? Got the grilled pork and the special. Felt smaller. Less meats. Bread was different...? Bit tougher. Not as soft.

Unplanned dinner with my sister and cousin.

There's an XO sauce beef noodles. Pretty good buy I enjoy the basic beef noodles more. Just a hint of spicy hotness at the end. More umami aroma from the sauce.

Chicken wings were crispy!

I love these self service hot pot/bbq ayce spots. Much easier to get the cuts I want, when I want.

I'm surprised this spot rebranded so quick since this storefront repurposed the location. It's basically the same concept, but improved.

Infrastructure was mostly the same but opened the area for more self serve food. The meat quality also improved. More cuts. More options.

Still dont like the grill but it works. Table felt small with the hot pot slots in the table. Not enough room to put more than a few plates at a time. Would be ok with 2 people, but more would need constantly going back and forth with the side table.

We went with the 4 people, get one 1 special for their anniversary. Still $46 a person after everything. I questioned the concept the first time I was here, but this visit changed my mind. Would come back again.

Still have leftover clams so i made a clam sundubu. Made all the korean side dishes along with it, except for the kimchi.

Good spicy food for the hot weather. Looks like rain might be coming back next week.

Picked up my sister from the airprot so she paid for lunch.

I dont know why I stopped coming here. Been a few years and I walk by all the time going to the grocery market. It used to be my favorite pho shop too. Anyway, the prices were reasonable compared to a lot of places. And it's still pretty yummy. Good portions too.

A reel got me into making this thick style yogurt. Apparently popular in Korea but not easily found in Seattle. To be fair, I didnt look that hard in stores. I wanted to make my own anyway.

I let the yogurt strain for 2 to 3 days. Thicker than Greek. Softer than cream cheese. Texture was smooth. Still a little tangy but milkier. Almost like a warmer ice cream.

I understand why the person said this was expensive. I typically yield four-ish 16oz jars, but this only gave me three 8oz jars. This strained out a lot of whey. I used it for soup so it's not wasted.

More of a treat than a regular day to day yogurt meal.

I had leftovers ready for lunch at home but quickly abandoned ship when my mom asked me to go eat.

This place has become the new spot to eat roast duck for our family.

The salted fish chicken fried rice was ok. It smelled fragrant of the salted fish, but not much flavor when you eat it.
