Goodbye April!

An event at Chuo Koen with some crazy weather, Kiddos starting a new school year, 3 new brews, new label designs, digging and prepping at the hop field, and a quick trip out to Kuroshio for Pacific Beer Works opening day… nonstop month!!

Thank you to everyone from all over Kōchi, and all over Japan, for visiting our little brewery and taproom.

Our 2 new March brews are almost sold out!! Less than 50 cans of each remaining so be quick if you would like some.

This month, we have TROPICA HOP, a 6% abv. DDH Juicy Ale; and B A S K, an experimental 5% abv. hybrid brew using a single cryo hop from brew, whirlpool to dry hopping (seen in the photo above.)
Both brews are available in cans, 10L & 15L kegs (Fresh batch of IPA ready soon!)

More original brews coming after Golden Week with more new goals and new brewing techniques.

Event - Kōchi Central Park

This Friday, Saturday & Sunday (April 3, 4, 5)
we will be pouring beers; 4 taps, selling cans & bottles and craft ginger ale at Kōchi Chuo Koen.

Friday, April 3: 17:00 ~ 20:00
Saturday, April 4: 10:00 ~ 21:00
Sunday, April 5: 10:00 ~ 20:00

We will be joined by and for the weekend!
There will be lots of different food stalls, too!

Wayfarer taproom is OPEN on Friday 11am to 6pm
but CLOSED on Saturday & Sunday.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

March 2026.
WHAT A MONTH!

We met so many people, from all over Kōchi prefecture, all over Japan, and all over the world!

We had a busy few weeks at Central Park in Kōchi city, then made our first trip to Tokyo, visited lots of excellent beer bars, drank lots of great brews, and were fortunate to take part in our first half tap take over… and then back to the Kokubu taproom for more fun!

Thank you to everyone for your feedback on our 2 new beers in March. We hope you enjoyed them.

In April, the cherry blossoms reach full bloom.
We have an event at Chuo Koen on the evening of April 3, then all day on April 4 & 5. We will have cans, bottles and tap beer available. Please come and say ‘hi’ if you have a chance.

We will have some more interesting brews coming in the second half of April, with new goals and new brewing techniques.

There is probably something I have forgotten but…

急遽、3月17日(火)、いつもWayfarerのビールをお取り扱いいただいている埼玉県JR武蔵浦和駅すぐの『C. AT.BREW』さんでHalf Tap Takeoverを開催してもらうことになりました！

店主の浅香さんのあたたかいご配慮で当日はWayfarerのビールを4種繋いでいただきます！

Our first event for 2026 starts tomorrow from 10am at Chuo Koen (Central Park) in downtown Kōchi city!

Tosa-no-Okyaku is an event unique to Kōchi where attendees are invited to drink just like they are in a living room full of friends and family!

All the festivities are to pay respects to the Bero-Bero Kami-sama, Kōchi prefecture’s God of Inebriation & Merriment.
The more you drink, the more good vibes you can catch from the gods.

We will be pouring beers on Saturday & Sunday, for 2 weekends, March 7 & 8 / 14 & 15

4 brews on tap (rotating throughout the day,) and a large selection of cans & bottles!!

Some our fellow breweries from the
Kōchi Craft Beer Association will also be in attendance, too.

The perfect calendar month of February finishes today.
Thank you so much to every single person who visited us, or tried one of our brews somewhere around Japan in February!!

March is going to be a great month;

•Beer drinking season is starting.
•We have 2 totally new brews coming soon.
•We have lots of new 12” records at the taproom.
•We have a new event beer server.
•All the brewery problems in February were easy to fix!

【新企画のご案内】

ビールをじっくり味わいたいこの季節にぴったりの体験型新企画のご提案です。

3つの器で楽しむビール。

「うすはりグラス」

元々電球用のガラスを製造していた松徳硝子。
その薄く均一に吹く技術を応用し、職人の手仕事にこだわり誕生した「うすはり」。
紙のように薄い底の薄さは、世界でも松徳硝子の職人にしか吹けないと言われるほど高度な技術です。
そのままビールが入ってくるような繊細な口当たりには感動します。

「銅タンブラー」

新潟県燕市で400年の歴史を持つ伝統工芸「燕鎚起（ついつき）銅器」。
燕の「ものづくり」は各工程ごとに、一つの技術を極めた職人から職人へつなぎ、一つの製品を作り上げます。
銅タンブラーの魅力は、優れた熱伝導による保冷効果、銅イオン効果により口当たりがまろやかにしてくれるところです。

「陶器カップ」

今回の企画はこの陶器でビールを味わってみたい！から生まれたくらい作品の出来上がりを楽しみにしていました。
陶器カップを作ってくれたのはブルワリーから500mほどしか離れていないご近所に工房がある「陶工房三寿」さん。
作家さんである創くんとは、幼い頃一緒に小学校に通っていて、今は息子同士が同級生という間柄。
ご自身の解釈で素材の持ち味を引き出すことを大切にものづくりをされていて、粘土や釉薬原料の特色を理解するために、
気になったことは実験をして試しながら製作に繋げているという姿勢が素敵な作家さんです。
今回は私たちの無理を聞いてもらい、特別につくってくれました、涙。

以下、作家さんより。
オシャレなお店の雰囲気とボイドさんの背の高さから、スリムでスタイリッシュな形が浮かびました。
細く持ちやすく、軽く飲みやすい、そんなイメージで製作しました。
焼いたあと、土肌を少し研磨しているので、手触りも心地よいと思います。

本当にうっとりするくらいきれいなラインで、触り心地も最高です。目で手で口で感覚をフルに使って楽しんでもらいたいです。

ビール時間は、味わいと一緒にその時々の経験がより素敵なものにしてくれると思っています。

すべて同じビールを注いで、泡立ちから味わい、余韻まで器の違いを楽しむもよし、
この器にはこのスタイルを！や、このスタイルをこの器で飲むとどんな変化に？！など、
ぜひ、いろいろな角度からビールを楽しんでもらえると嬉しいです♪

Stop! Wait….
January is finished already!?
