最初の製品であるNINE LEAVES CLEARは、クリアラムと名付けています
。焼き物の透明なうわぐすりの原料となる長石鉱山からわき出る超軟水と沖縄多良間諸島産のサトウキビから造られた黒糖を原料に、ラムでは珍しいスコットランド製の銅のポットスチルで蒸留。甘く、シャープでほのかに吟醸酒のようなニュアンスを持つ、透明感あるラム酒です。そして、日本で唯一、本州の滋賀県で造られています。本州初の国産ラム酒です。
It's first line of rum, NINE LEAVES CLEAR is titled "Clear" Rum. Ultra-soft water from a mountain in Shiga Prefecture that was once a mine for feldspar used as a clear glaze on pottery, and brown cane sugar from Taramajima, Okinawa is distilled in a hand-made Pot Still from Scotland. A pot-still of this kind is rarely used in Rum making, which creates its luscious yet sharp flavor. It's singly flavor reminds one of Daiginjoushu, top quality Japanese sake(rice wine)- boasting a sophisticated, full, yet crystal clear, linger. It's worthy to note that it is also the only Rum made on the main island of Japan.
