My headache these days is invasion of animals to my field eating Black-Soybean Edamame which is right now in harvest time. The "uninvited guests" appear to be much fond of my field products which are free of pesticide and chemical fertilizer.
Last year they came in 3 times in Oct. It's amazing that somehow they precisely know the right time to enter; just the night before my planned harvest day!
Beside the prevention metal fence, I added two measures.
1) High-voltage current surrounding the field
2)Use of Predator Pee
It is said that the predator marks its territory with urine and stalks its prey. Prey such as wild-boar, deer etc.react to the marking scent of their predators by seeking to avoid those
predators at all costs.
Imported from US, Maine, Wolf Urine is bit expensive but in order to avoid unwanted animal invasion, gladly I decided to use it.
So far my field is OK.
