Poultry farming is a science that needs many role players as well as many different management procedures, which forms the parts of a successful poultry enterprise. If the role players or management procedures are not correct the poultry farmer is bound to fail.

Due to the increasing demand of chickens and eggs and also quest for self employment, many people are interested in turning their career to the poultry farming with mixed results. 1.Insufficient knowledge (lack of know-how):

Most rush to farming after seeing their neighbors harvests. They don’t take their time to learn about market dynamics and demand and supply curve.

2.Lack of persistence:

Most want instant gratification.They want to be millionaires overnight.They don’t want to face disease challenge or market challenge. All they want is more and more profits. I am sorry to burst your bubble but farming doesn’t work that way.You’ve to toil and sweat. Nothing comes easily.

3.High cost of feeds and poultry equipment:

This has been a pain in the neck. Cost of production has gone over the roof in recent times due to this. I always advise farmers to use creativity and improvise these things e.g buckets in place of drinkers and feeders. Proper feeding management without any wastage is also very important.

4. Insufficient knowledge on marketing:

This is demoralizing at the same time heart breaking.

5.Lack of professionals:

Farmers have to make do with trial and error .Due to this they are left at limbo not able to fight challenges e.g diseases and they really lose a lot.

6.Disease outbreaks:

HOW TO PREVENT COCCIDIOSIS FROM YOUR BIRDS WITH JUST BITTERLEAF, SCENTLEAFS AND NEEM LEAVES.

Coccidiosis is not a diseases you should wait for it to catch your birds before you start using drugs to treat and prevent it.

If you are using drugs, You can prevent coccidiosis By using this drugs from vet shops for Examples (Amprolium,Totrazuril,Kepcox,Embazin forte and others)

But if you want to prevent coccidiosis organically, it’s also possible. But to prevent coccidiosis you will need Neem leaves, bitter-leafs and scent leafs to prepare your organic concoction.

Ingredients needed to prepare organic anti coccidiosis.
1)Neem leaves. 100g
2)Bitterleafs. 100g
3)Scent leafs. 100g
4)Water. 100cl.

To prepare you can easily use a blender to blend all the ingredients together in the blender then sieve before giving to your birds.

But if don’t have have a blender no problems. Pour all the leaves in a round bowl and soak for 11hours with Water. The quantity of water must not be too much because we want our organic solutions to be thicker than water.

after the 11th hour squeeze the leaves together inside the bowl for like 30mins . After squeezing and you have noticed that the water has become so green, sieve away the remaining leaves from the Green water which is our organic juice. Now that you have the organic solution add or pour it into a bottle you can easily use to store the organic solution. And you can start using it for your birds from their 7th day.
