Fingerlings Harvest and Sorting Activity at KAHA.WA Aquaculture Youth Group

The KAHA.WA Aquaculture Youth Group successfully conducted a harvesting and sorting exercise for fingerlings as part of our ongoing fish farming activities. This initiative reflects our dedication to promoting youth participation in aquaculture, agribusiness, and the blue economy.

Aquaculture offers great potential for economic empowerment, food security, and environmental sustainability. Through this project, we aim to inspire more young people to embrace fish farming as a viable source of income and an opportunity to contribute to Kenya’s sustainable development goals.

We had a productive capacity-building session with the Lwanda Young Achievers Youth Group, where we supported them in shaping their fish pond and installing the liner. The activity was practical, interactive, and highly informative for all participants.
