We have exciting news! In collaboration with USAID, we're thrilled to introduce our new initiative, Safe Milk Kenya – "Know Your Milk, Improve Your Health." This project aims to tackle the issue of aflatoxin contamination in milk, ensuring the safety of dairy products for all Kenyans.

We extend our gratitude to Hon. Jonathan Mueke, PS of Agriculture and Livestock Development, and the entire ministry for their invaluable support in ensuring every Kenyan has access to safe dairy products.

We're thrilled to announce the official launch of the ‘Safe Milk Kenya’-Know your Milk-Improve your Health! project. This groundbreaking initiative, co-funded by Bio Foods Products Ltd and USAID, aims to raise awareness among consumers and farmers on the impact of high levels of aflatoxin in milk on health, to provide training and advice on mitigation measures to reduce it towards a national outcome of better health for dairy consumers.

This is a multi-stakeholder initiative bringing together the private, public and the development sectors. We appreciate the support industry stakeholders; Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, Ministry of Health, Nairobi City County, Nakuru County, Kenya Dairy Board, Unga Group PLC, and Maxim Agri have extended.

This project marks a significant milestone in Kenya's dairy journey, paving the way for a healthier, more prosperous future for the entire industry and its communities. Together, we can build a stronger and safe dairy community. Join the journey!
