Soil:
Beans thrive in well-drained, fertile soils rich in organic matter with a pH between 6.5 and 7.5. Waterlogged soils should be avoided as they can lead to root rot and disease.

Climate:
Beans are well-suited to altitudes between 1000-2100 meters above sea level and temperatures between 15-33 degrees Celsius. Adequate rainfall (800-2000mm annually) is crucial, but excessive rain during flowering can cause issues.

Planting:
Use certified, disease-free seeds and plant them at the onset of the rainy season if relying on rain-fed agriculture. Proper spacing is essential, with recommendations varying depending on the variety and whether they are bush or climbing beans.

Fertilizer and Manure:
Apply basal fertilizer (DAP) at a rate of 50kg per acre and incorporate manure to improve soil fertility.
Add super gro organic foliar for better yields.

W**d Control:
Manage weeds through manual weeding or selective herbicides, especially during the early stages of growth.

Pest and Disease Management:
Monitor crops for pests like bean flies, aphids, and whiteflies, and diseases like rust. Implement appropriate control measures, including insecticide and fungicide application, crop rotation, and field hygiene.

Harvesting:
Beans should be harvested when the pods are young and tender, or left to dry on the plant for seed harvesting.
