I am always thankful to the people of Nakuru for electing me as your senator

I continue to fight for more resources to our county, earning us a second place in share of equitable revenue from the national government.

I feel bad knowing all those resources are mismanaged, denying our people health services across our hospitals due to corruption.

The Senate Public accounts committee has depicted that there is rampant corruption in Nakuru and now the matter has been forwarded to EACC.

Governors must know that public resources are not personal entitlements, and thus must always appear before senate it's committees for accountability.

May this holy month fill your heart with peace, your home with barakah and your days with mercy and answered prayers. May our fasting purify us, our prayers uplift us and our charity draw us closer to Allah. Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed, joyful and spiritually fulfilling Ramadan.

I was privileged today morning to join faithfuls at St. John Catholic Church and PCEA Church in Mai Mahiu for worship and fellowship.

I thanked H.E. the President for honoring his promise made to resettle the Mai Mahiu flood victims. It was encouraging to note that by next week, all the affected families will have been fully resettled.

I also expressed deep concern over the stalled Mai Mahiu Level 4 Hospital, which is now 90% complete yet remains non-operational due to inaction by the Nakuru County Government. The people of Mai Mahiu deserve access to quality healthcare services without further delay.

Further, I highlighted the poor state of access roads despite Mai Mahiu being a key economic zone.

It was equally troubling that residents continue to face water scarcity even though the main water pipeline passes through their area.

Jesus didn’t come to cancel the Law but to fulfil it. True righteousness starts in the heart, rooted in love, mercy and justice. Let’s guard our thoughts, purify our intentions, and reflect God’s love in how we live and treat others.

I find it unacceptable that Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika is reportedly in China on non-official business while failing to appear before the Senate Public Accounts Committee. That conduct undermines accountability and disrespects the people of Nakuru who deserve answers on the use of public funds.

Yesterday I hosted businesspeople from Gilgil who paid me a courtesy call to discuss issues affecting trade, investment, and economic growth in our county.

It is sad how Nakuru Governor continues to mismanage county resources, despite our county receiving the second largest share. I shall not rest and will use all available channels until every coin brought to the Nakuru County Government is fully accounted for.

I joined worshippers at St. Peter and Paul Mwico wa Rami Church in Naivasha East, where the service was presided over by Fr. Collins Omondi.

The message, drawn from Matthew 5:13–16, reminded us to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world a call to let our faith be demonstrated through action.

In the same spirit, I was glad to support the church’s development, reaffirming my belief that true faith in Christ is lived out through good works and service, not words alone.

Called to be salt and light even in small ways, our integrity, faith and love should make a difference. When we live the Gospel authentically, our lives point others to God’s truth and glory.
