Day 1 at Macfrut has been nothing short of inspiring — and for us at Iviani Farm, it was truly a mango day.

We had the opportunity to engage with farmers across the world, exchanging experiences on mango production, challenges, and opportunities in value addition. It was powerful to see the shared vision of reducing post-harvest losses and creating more value from every harvest.

We also engaged with buyers, opening up conversations around market access, quality standards, and scaling mango-based products to meet global demand.

At Iviani Farm, our focus remains clear — value addition. Transforming mangoes into high-quality, market-ready products that increase farmer incomes and build more resilient food systems.

Looking forward to more learning, connections, and impact in the coming days.

Yesterday, our CEO Faith Mumo represented Iviani Farm at a Blue Economy Policy Review workshop convened by MEDA, Global Affairs Canada, and AECF.

The session brought together key stakeholders across government, SMEs, and development partners to validate Kenya’s Blue Economy Policy Analysis Report and identify practical pathways for implementation.

As practitioners in aquaculture, we see firsthand how policy shapes access to markets, financing, and sustainable production systems. It was encouraging to engage in conversations focused not just on policy design, but on ensuring solutions are inclusive, practical, and responsive to real on the ground challenges, especially for women and youth led enterprises.

At Iviani Farm, we remain committed to contributing to policy dialogues that strengthen aquaculture ecosystems, unlock opportunities for farmers, and drive climate resilient livelihoods in Kenya’s blue economy.

It's partnerships like these that transform a whole region.
