The VS-Kakrona-Eco is a socially-minded community organization, established back in 2013. We started as a restaurant and since then ran through several concept changes. In 2014 we turned the restaurant into an Eco-Café, using solar energy only to cover our energy needs. We created a field in the backyard of our house, using our personal farming experience, and planted a lot of different kinds of f
ruits, vegetables, herbs and leafs. We can offer our guests a small menu at our Eco-Café and we host several volunteers from all over the world, exchanging our ideas and knowledge. OUR VISION

Creating a large community of organic, sustainable farms in Banteay Srey, to ensure fair salary for everyone, helping overcome poverty and exploitation, ensuring a healthy environment and bringing education to everyone in need. Kakrona, the Khmer word for compassion, is deeply connected to our projects and philosophy. Poverty is omnipresent all over Cambodia, especially in the rural areas. Therefore we founded a free education program in 2013 for all locals living in Banteay Srey, Kna Village. This is made possible by honorable donors and caring volunteers from all over the globe. Providing assistance in organic farming techniques to the villagers and bring education to the children is our main goal.
