Shree Jagdish Chewda Mart (JCM) was established by Raja Ratanlal Keshavlal Kandoi in the year 1939, with a modest beginning in a small shop at Vadodara, Gujarat. It is named after one of his four sons – Shree Jagdish Ratanlal Kandoi and had its brush with fame with sincere efforts of Shree Bhailalbhai Kandoi – his third son. From the humble beginning in 1938 at a rented shop near NPCC area of Vado

dara, Bhailalbhai fought the odds and built a brand that became synonymous to a tasty Gujarati Savory and its speciality – Bhakharwadi. Shree Jagdish Chewda Mart today has four branches other than its parent branch in Jubelibagh, which was a gift from then king of Baroda and was established almost a decade before India got its independence.
