🍇 Favorita

🎨 Pale Yellow with light green hues.

👃 Hints of White peach, white flowers, pineapple, Green apples, minerals.

👅 Mineral, lemon, lemons zest, green apples.

🍴 To enjoy in its youngest, it goes perfectly with delicate "antipasti", mostly fish, white meats and risotto.

❤️ The "Favoured" table grape, the Favorita variety was very appreciated as table grape. When vinified, it was traditionally used to blend local red wines, such as Nebbiolo and Barbera. In the early 1900s, the cultivation of this variety dropped a lot, replaced by other red grape varieties. Recently, however, the producers from Roero are re-evaluating the Favorita and Vinificate its grapes for the production of Langhe D.O.C. Favorita.
