Rim water is bottled live at the Ain el Saifieh spring in Lebanon. The Ain el Saifieh spring is a 100 million-year-old natural wonder, located at 1,450 meters above sea level. It is located in a privately protected zone that spans over 12 million square meters, where no human and livestock activities are allowed, in the aim of maintaining the natural integrity of our source and its soil. To further sustain this preservation, the leadership of Rim water undertook a major afforestation campaign together with the German and Lebanese ministries of agriculture by planting over 30,000 cedar trees in the land surrounding the spring. Under the title of the Lebanese-German Cedar Forest of Friendship, it is aimed to become one of the exemplary cedar forests around the world. Rim water’s natural origin begins when the snow on top of Mount Sannine, at 2,628 meters above sea level, melts and precipitates into the geological layers of the mountain. Every drop then undergoes an all-natural filtering and mineralization journey, guaranteeing its purity and healthy mineral composition with absolutely no human intervention to alter this natural activity. The water reaches the Ain el Saifieh spring one full year after it melts, where a constant temperature of 7 to 9 degrees C is naturally maintained at all times. From the spring, the water of Rim flows by gravity to our ultra-modern bottling facility, located at 1,250 meters above sea level. Rim water is bottled untouched, unaltered, and delivered to you precisely as intended by nature and in the highest grade packaging formats. Rim water is naturally light in minerals, with a TDS of 150mg/L and a pH of 7.4 giving it an exceptional soft and smooth mouthfeel. It is low in sodium at 2.3mg/L and rich in magnesium at 16mg/L. Our in-house state-of-the-art laboratory performs hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly chemical, microbiological, and physical water quality tests:
1. On the spring (before bottling)
2. During the bottling process
3. On final the product (bottled and packed water)
Rim water is tested and analyzed in accordance to LIBNOR (Lebanese Standards Institution), in addition to strict international standards. Certificates and memberships: IBWA, NSF, ISO2000, ESMA, and Fine Waters.
