Niha is a village in the Bekaa Valley , north of Zahle , Lebanon, it is renowned for is Roman archaeological temples ,built in the 1st Century and dedicated to the Syro-Phoenician mermaid Goddess Atargatis- the deity of fertility, love and beauty- and her consort the God Hadaranes.
The name of our wine: Les Temples represents the magnificent temples and surrounding hills, which once served as a source of wine for the main temple in Baalbeck- the ancient city of Heliopolis.

Since 2004 , Les Temples has been cultivating grapevines in the hills of the village of Niha , at altitudes ranging from 1,100 to 1,400 , meters near the ancient temples. The areas fertile soil, favorable climate, and exceptional land quality make it ideal for growing premium grape varieties , such as: Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon , and Sauvignon Blanc.

Les Temples winery is located at Niha : is a village in the Bekaa Valley about 8 km (5.0 mi) North of Zahlé. It is famous for its Roman archeological ruins, and in particular two lower Roman temples that date back to the 1st century AD. which are built and dedicated to the Syro - Phoenician mermaid Goddess Atargates , the Goddess of fertility and her consort the God Hadaranes.

It was known at that testament the source of wine to the city and capital Heliopolis Baalbeck.

From Here the name LES TEMPLES was created .
