Together for Awareness.

Yesterday, it was “Wear Pink Day” for us at Fonterra Brands Lanka. What followed was an impactful Breast Cancer Awareness session, to a packed audience, that stirred hearts and sparked conversations.
Consultant General Surgeon Dr. Mrs. Rebecca Gunasekera took us through the realities of breast cancer, sharing hard truths, hopeful breakthroughs, and stories from the frontlines of care. It was the Breast Cancer Survivor, Mrs. Shanika Gunawardena who truly stirred every heart in the room.. Her personal journey after being diagnosed, raw, real, and radiant with courage reminded us that early detection isn’t just important. It’s lifesaving.
Her message was loud and clear: Screening saves lives. Awareness is action.

We’re happy to partner with Hemas Hospitals to offer specially discounted screenings for our team because looking out for each other is what we do.
For us, this wasn’t just an event. It was a moment of truth, a wave of empathy, and a powerful reminder of the strength we hold together.
