We proudly source fresh coconuts from a small local farmer in a remote village. By buying directly from him, we help support his family and empower his humble business to thrive 🤍🤝

Once harvested, these coconuts are combined with pure Kithul honey or jaggery to create our traditional Kalu Dodol—made with love, patience, and generations of knowledge 🍯🥥

🌾 Surrounding us are golden paddy fields, where we harvest rice and carefully grind it into fine rice flour, an essential ingredient in Kalu Dodol.

Our Kithul honey comes from small village households 🏡 deep in rural Sri Lanka, where skilled tappers carefully climb 15–20 feet-high Kithul palms 🌴🧗🏽‍♂️ using knowledge passed down through generations. The flower stalk is gently tapped and treated with a traditional spice-based “medicine” 🌶️🌿 to naturally encourage sap flow. The sap is collected twice daily 💧 in bamboo or clay pots 🎋🏺 and slowly boiled 🔥 into this rich, golden treacle.

By buying directly from local farmers and tappers 🤝🏽❤️, we help preserve this traditional livelihood and ensure fair, sustainable income for rural families 🌾👨🏽‍🌾👩🏽‍🌾. Your support allows them to continue practicing this labor-intensive craft with dignity and pride ✨.
