"Is this safe?" It's a simple question. Most suppliers in this industry can't answer it simply, or at all.
My brother and I came from corporate backgrounds knowing absolutely nothing about our food system until Sri Lanka faced it's biggest ricession few years back. Food security stopped being a policy discussion and became something we had to think about directly. So we left those jobs and went looking for real answers.
What we found was farmers working the traditional way. No shortcuts, real soil, proven process. Safety wasn't actually missing from their methods. It had simply never been the question anyone was asking.
We took that product to retail next, and retail had one priority: cost. "Traceable" doesn't move product when price is the only variable buyers are optimizing for. A hard lesson in how little the industry actually rewards transparency by default.
So we changed who we sell to and how. We work directly with our network of farmers and ethical manufacturing partners, and deliver directly to the brands and businesses who actually want to know what they're serving. Every batch traceable to real people, not a vague sourcing claim.
This is built for the brand that won't put its name on something it can't verify. The chef who checks, and checks again. The business that treats "safe" as a standard to prove, not a box to tick.
Show, don't tell. That's the standard we hold ourselves to. We're Embrace green.
