🚴♂️ RAMAYAN TRAILS IN DELFT 🌊✨
A truly inspiring journey unfolded as passionate cyclists from India and Sri Lanka came together to explore the legendary Ramayan Trail — this time reaching the breathtaking island of Delft!
Cyclist Uday Bhan Singh from Haryana, along with Sri Lankan cycling champions Nuwan Kumara, Sugath Pathirana, and CJ Khandawala, continued their incredible cross-border journey, symbolizing unity, endurance, and cultural connection.
They were joined by local cycling enthusiast Kiruthikan from Jaffna and an IT teacher from Kandy, forming a diverse and energetic team driven by a shared love for cycling, heritage, and exploration.
This memorable 3-day expedition was organized by the Northern Chamber of Industries (NCI), bringing together cycling enthusiasts, tourism & hospitality professionals, including Muhunthan and Anne, highlighting the powerful link between cycling tourism and cultural discovery.
Upon arrival at Delft Jetty, the team received a warm and heartfelt welcome by Delft Pradesiya Saba Chairman, Secretary & government officials with NCI member Seran, who ensured seamless arrangements throughout their stay — showcasing the true spirit of Northern hospitality.
🌿 From ancient legends to scenic coastal beauty, Delft became more than just a destination — it became an experience of heritage, friendship, and sustainable tourism.
Let’s continue to promote Sri Lanka as a global hub for cycling and cultural tourism! 🚴♀️🇱🇰
