Good day viewers all over Liberia
Through this medium, I want to briefly elaborate on the speculation going around that is now causing embarrassment to our clean handed administration.
This brief explanation is about the graduation and its related activities within the Lango Lippaye High School.
For the past few days, there have been few misinformed media personnel who are wrongly carrying information relating to this process.
The point is that Lango Lippaye High School, under this acting administration, has been very submissive to the policies of the Ministry of Education.
Unlike other schools that are currently carrying or have carried out registration for 10th graders, Lango Lippaye High School has not attempted to do so but is patiently waiting on the Ministry.
Lango Lippaye High School abide by the mendit from the Ministry by not sharing Clarence before the release of WASSCE results but lately decided to issue Clarence due to the crucial time given by the Ministry for graduation.
Distribution of Clarence began on Saturday, September 7, 2024. The exact amount requested within this Clarence is Five Thusand Liberian Dollars ($5,00LRD) and nothing more.
Read carefully the injection of additional fees.
In early August there were severals meetings held among the students of the Class of Lux Veritas, in which they reached agreements that in addition to the materials that are being provided by the school as the Ministry required,
(Those materials are
Diploma and cover
Transcript and letter of recommendation
Souvenir
Preparation of the hall)
,they decided to have materials that are highly essential to the success of their program. I currently have the agreement list on which students willfully signed as evidence of their agreement.
The administration has never been involved in any of these decisions and agreements. When this agreement was taken to the administration, they insisted that they would accept no such thing unless it's been approved by the office of the PTSA.
In this light, there were consultations done with the PTSA, and there were agreements met by parents through a meeting.
I currently have a copy of the attendance in my possession.
The idea of sharing a note that provides the breakdown of their materials and costs was suggested by a parent based on the refusal of the administration to have it added to their Clarence.
This notice was prepared by the class itself and signed by the leadership in consultation with the PTSA.
This notice carried the name of the Class Firstly in its heading providing that it's directly from the students themselves.
I have all necessary evidences with me now, inbox me for further explanation.
There are many schools within Kakata that have gone deeply against the Ministry, while Lango Lippaye strives to abide.
I will be back with more updates.
My advice
You will not gain relevance by damaging the reputation of people who took many years to get to where they are.
You are just a young man struggling to build yourselves. You should be very careful when passing information about others especially sensitive ones like this, looking at our dispensation.
You have a long way to go.
Best wishes: June King.
