Yesterday, April 26, 2026, we visited Hon. Abdullah L. Kamara, former LTA boss of Liberia and CEO of NVTI Vocational, to express our appreciation for his support toward our fundraiser program held on February 8, 2026, in Monrovia.

He served as the keynote speaker, promised to provide 15 scholarship slots to our institution, and pledged 150,000 LRD. Yesterday, the 15 scholarship slots he promised were secured, and the 150,000 LRD he pledged will be received on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, by our National Chairlady in Madam Mawatta Saryon

This is what unity can bring. It is sincere unity and love that made us achieve this. Hon. Kamara would not have done this for us, his children from the community, if we had not united ourselves under this institution.

That is why we are asking all young people of Quardu Gboni to come together sincerely, regardless of our differences in ideas.

Thank you so much, Hon. Kamara, for always keeping your doors open to us.

May Allah reward you, bless your businesses and children, and grant you all the good things you wish for in life. Ameen, Insha’Allah. 🙏🙏

Our visitation to Hon. Sekou Korleh house as part of our appreciation engagement for his support toward our fundraising program held on February 8, 2026.

We reached out to many and invited them, but they did not show up. However, the moment we knocked on his door, he welcomed us warmly. From the beginning to the end of our luncheon, he supported us both morally and financially. On the day of the program, while many made promises, he donated 50,000 LRD in cash without hesitation.

Note: We are not praising him or trying to favor him over others, as some are quick to politicize such actions. However, under our watch, when someone does good, we show gratitude. We are grateful to him for his generosity, and as the Quardu Gboni District Youths Homecoming, we do not hide our appreciation for anyone who opens their doors to support us. Hon. Korleh is one of those individuals. Our big brother, Va Sekou, thank you so much, we are deeply grateful.

We reached out to many, but only a few truly stood by us with their support, inshallah we will be reaching them one by one to express our sincere gratitude to them and to let the world know about their good deeds.

If you choose to say we have handed our institution over to them, so be it, we understand that some people like to politicize everything.

Once again, thank you, Hon. Korleh.

Next person coming tomorrow.

Alihamdulillahi.

Yesterday, April 23, 2026, we began our appreciation visit with our Board Chairman, Hon. Fomba Trawally, CEO of Kumba Bendu
At times in life, you have to set professionalism aside and approach people through your tradition and culture, if you truly know and value them, not by speaking with a sugar tongue or writing excessively just to prove you are a professor.

From the beginning of this movement, we approached Hon. Fomba Trawally traditionally and culturally, as we did with many others, without even writing to them or using big grammar. At the same time, despite his busy schedule, we humbly asked him to accept being one of our board members using traditional means that both he and we value dearly. He immediately accepted without hesitation and even recommended some of his peers for us to reach out to, we did so, some excused themselves due to busy schedules, while others accepted in words but did not follow through, which we understand.

After some time, we returned to him again and requested that he accept the role of Board Chairman after our observations, once again, he accepted without delay, all because of the humble and traditional way we approached him for the sake of our community, Quardu Gboni.

Since that time up to today, his office door has always been open to us, we do not need permission to visit him whenever we need his guidance, the moment he notices that his children are outside his office, even if he is in a meeting, he immediately invites us in, He will even pause his business engagements to attend to us in many times we have visited him.

We believe all this has happened because of the strong traditional values we prioritize, respect, humility, and submission, over excessive professionalism or big grammar, In fact, from the beginning to the end of our conversations that so so Quardu Gboni Mandingo we can be soaking 😂😹

This is a man who does not tell you let’s go without leading the way. When he says let’s go, he is always in front, unlike many who say it but are nowhere to be found.

If you notice, since the fundraiser program on February 8, 2026, we had not carried out any appreciation until now it's because of him, we wanted to begin with him first because of the significant role he has played and continues to play.

There are many things he has opened our minds to, ideas that are helping us grow and pushing us to work toward a better future for our community within his lifetime. We believe in him and continue to pray for the realization of these goals.

We can never be ungrateful or take his kindness and support for granted, we cannot hide his many contributions behind the scenes.
Hon. Trawally, we say thank you for yesterday, thank you for today, and thank you forever.

What you have done for us, financially and morally, we cannot repay at this time. Even if we tried, it would not equal your generosity. Instead, we repay you with our deep gratitude, and for your moral support, we remain ever loyal, Chief.

We are deeply grateful. May Allah reward you.

Our leadership on ground headed by our national chairman in Mr. Kaifala Kawako EM Dukuly Quardu Gboni chapter chairlady Madam Majasa Kamara and the Chief Auditor in Mr. Abu Trawally has a successful meeting today in the District, we are back again.

The national chairman writes✍️✍️✍️

Alhamdulillah, the Quardu Gboni District Youth Homecoming, we are back on our feet again. Today, the leadership on the ground held a successful meeting with our mother, Majasa Kamara, Chairlady of the Quardu Gboni Chapter, in consultation with the national leadership. The purpose was to begin engagement and public appreciation for those who attended our Quardu Gboni District Youth Homecoming fundraising program on February 8, 2026, in Monrovia.

Two days after the fundraising program, on February 10, 2026, we immediately called for an executive meeting to determine the total amount generated in cash and pledges.

The total amount was made known to the executive through the Finance Department. It was agreed that, since the fasting month Ramadan was approaching, we would wait until after the fast month period before beginning the engagement and follow-up with those who made pledges.

Alhamdulillah, after the fast month, the first person we intended to begin the engagement with was our Board Chairman, in Hon. Fombah Trawally. Unfortunately, he was out of the country, and upon his return, the Barkedu FASO was already underway. We therefore decided to wait until after the FASO before kicking off the process. Now that the FASO is over, we are back and ready to carry on the task.

Alhamdulillah, a million thanks to our donors, executives, and members of the Homecoming who trust and believe in what we are doing and are pleased with our efforts without pressure or complain because of our many engagement in the community, We are humble and grateful for your trust and patient.

Although we know you believe in us, that does not prevent us from giving a proper account of all that must be accounted for. We are working within the timeline agreed upon, not our own. We are 100% accountable to you, the executives, donors, and members of the movement, and to no one else and thank you giving us the opportunity to present all the report at the appropriate time with your timing not based on pressure from a noisy minority.

Thank you very much for the confidence and trust placed in us. We will deliver on this cause without failing you.

The Homecoming will be even greater and more successful than the fundraising program as we promised you when you doubted it insha’Allah.

Monrovia, we are coming soon.
