We aim to provide spirits that reflect the culture and climate we have in Australia - that epitomise freshness, vibrancy and astringency (the hallmarks of what we believe in!)

Apart from crafting fine Whisky and Gin, we constantly dabble

in experimental small-batch distilling - be it diluting Gin with Saké, torpedo-ing it with Lavender, smoking barely grain with Applewood or crafting refreshing Amaro from Native Australian Riberries. Tag us

Applewood Chin Chin to Gin Farewell Party

We are putting the cork in the Distillery Door for now… BUT before we close for our facelift we would like to invite you all to a final “chin-chin” filled with gin, grooves and Gumeracha good vibes!

We will be serving Applewood riffs on classics like the “Zombie” pictured above. Traditional cocktails with an Applewood twist, plus all the bangers from our current menu you already love.

This is goodbye, but not forever. Applewood Distillery Door will be open on the following Saturday and Sunday. Then… well, you’ll have to wait and see. It might be a Shock to the system.

The Applewood Distillery Door is closing.

We’ve had an incredible 8 years showcasing the best of The Land We Belong To from our scenic home in Gumeracha. While we’ll continue to produce world-class Gins celebrating the best of Australian Native Botanicals, the time has come to take our Cold Store Venue in a new direction, with a new concept arriving mid-April.

We’d like to thank every one of our guests for joining us on this adventure. Our mission to celebrate Australia has resonated with people on a global scale, and every visitor to our home has helped spur our passion and drive our creativity. We’re honoured that so many of you have made the pilgrimage from all corners of the world to see where the magic happens, and we’re grateful to have put a smile on so many faces over the years.

Our last service will be Sunday 16th March. We plan to go out with a party, so stay tuned for details.
