🇲🇦 MY UPDATED MARRAKECH LIST 🇲🇦
My second time in what I feel is one of the most romantic cities in the world, was imbued with less tourist-ing and more slow living. 🫶🏾
⚠️NOTE: Rather than listing the same five 'Instagrammable spots' that every 'food blogger' seems to love, I prefer to focus on restaurants with integrity and fantastic dishes.⚠️
🍽EAT 🍽
- .Slimana.marrakech - my favorite 'regular' restaurant so far. The branding is sublime and after a long time I was excited by the innovative combinations of dishes.
- a delightfully pretty restaurant with fantastic food and exceptional vibe
- - recently opened, lovely cuisine and funky decor
- Bombay Medina - unexpectedly some of the most delicious Indian food I've ever had, easily top 3. Just realized I forgot to eat the gulab jamun in the pic 😭😭
- - came back here for the second time. Lovely staff and cuisine, they have eight resident cats that wander the restaurant 😻
- - cute, intimate local place with nice dessert selection
- - nice food, friendly service
✨️LUXURY DINING ✨️
- Tea Rooms at - Doing a separate video on this, but what stood out for me was the joyfully sincere service and the tranquility of the gardens 🌸
- Le Grand Morocaine at - THE experience, save it for last is all I can say 👑
⚠️Wasn't really impressed by Rooftop Garden (aka Nobu Rooftop) and I recommend avoiding like the plague 🫣
🏰 STAY🏰
I stayed at which was fantastic in terms of location, venue and service - central enough to everything but far away from any chaos. It genuinely felt like home.
💅🏽 BEAUTY 💅🏽
- Orient Medina massage - the service here is fantastic, I went back twice for nails and massage.
🧘🏻♀️YOGA 🧘🏻♀️
has some of the best yoga classes I've been to, is women-only and classes are both in French and English. They also have boxing and belly dancing which is so much fun. I can't recommend this studio enough! 💛
