When I was a child, my grandmother used to buy fresh cow milk from a local farmer who delivered it to her home. He would bring two glass bottles full of fresh milk and take back two empty bottles.
In Macedonia, raw milk is available through local farms and markets. You can find it by visiting farms directly or by exploring farmers' markets where local producers sell fresh dairy products. Crispy chicken fillets and spring potatoes - I bake everything together to make my life simplier. Look at that golden color, right? :)

Shopska salad (or any fresh salad) is a must. I never skip the salad part.

I don’t bother with plating at home. For my family, I serve everything straight from the tray. No extra dishes, no unnecessary washing. Hardcore mode on. :)

In the recipe, I usually add crushed cornflakes for extra crunch, but these here are coated with breadcrumbs.

The potatoes are simply washed, cut, seasoned, and drizzled with oil. No peeling. Spring potatoes deserve that respect.

Traditional Macedonian recipe of cookies that's been written in our grandmothers recipe books, often made with beer, but I think they're better with white wine. This recipe is from my aunt, though I remember my grandma used to make similar with beer. The name of the cookies is "vinarki or vinarici", derived from the word "vino" meaning "wine". If you heard about "pivarki", those are the cookies I've mentioned before, basically the same, just made with beer (pivo).
