My twelve years teaching children with different abilities together with my readings for a Master’s degree in inclusive education have shown me that all children have potential for learning. They just need to be given the opportunity and the materials necessary to explore their environment and to construct their own learning. Because young children’s minds learn quickly, this Montessori-based prog
ramme encourages intellectual curiosity and critical-thinking skills that will build a strong foundation and fuel success in children when they start school. This programme is packed with (often messy!) activities that will enhance your child’s holistic growth. Babies and toddlers improve their fine motor skills and language development through a series of activities that range from baby sensory, painting, cooking and doing crafts to scientific discoveries and imaginary trips to the jungle, the ocean, treasure hunt and much more. Children also have the opportunity to become independent learners by doing practical life tasks like pouring water from a jug and making orange juice. Background music is played during the activities so as to aid in memory and concentration Socialisation, sharing and turn taking are important skills that children learn throughout the activities. At little explorers children are encouraged to investigate the world around them and to learn from it at their own pace. Children are given individual attention and the sessions will be planned on what the children already know. In order to scaffold children’s learning, classes are kept small (about 5 children). Places are limited so please send me a private message to secure your booking and avoid disappointment.
