- Managing sales pipelines, databases and documentation efficiently.

Cini Group, a leading Food Manufacturer and Distribution company in Malta, requires a Full-Time Purchasing Officer who is seeking to develop his / her career in the food and packaging industry. The ideal candidate should be energetic and organised and ready to work in a busy work environment.

Main responsibilities:
- Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs,
- Process suppliers’ purchase orders and track orders to ensure timely delivery,
- Correspond with both local and foreign suppliers to sort any queries arising from orders, invoices and claims,
- Research potential new suppliers,
- Update system with order details and carry our necessary inventory maintenance
- Liaise with warehouse staff on delivery dates and to ensure all products arrive in good condition,
- Collaborate with internal departments, understanding their requirements and providing them with purchasing support as necessary.

Requirements:
- Previous experience is considered an asset,
- Great communication skills; both written and verbal in Maltese and English. Fluency in Italian language is considered an asset although not necessary,
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures,
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines,
- Smart, motivated and energetic with solid organisational and multi-tasking skills with minimal supervision,
- Ability to work well in a team,
- Strong command of Microsoft Office tools especially in Excel, Word and Outlook.

We are looking for Full-Time Warehouse Storekeepers / Order Pickers to join our team and help prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Main Duties Include:
• Picking and preparing customer orders accurately
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Receiving incoming goods and checking quantities
• Putting stock away in the correct warehouse locations
• Replenishing picking areas
• Checking products, quantities and expiry dates
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
• Assisting with stock counts and inventory checks
• Reporting damaged or missing stock
• Using pallet trucks and other warehouse equipment
• Following company health and safety procedures
• Working closely with the warehouse and distribution team

What We’re Looking For:
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Good attention to detail, particularly when picking orders
• Able to work efficiently in a busy warehouse environment
• Previous warehouse/storekeeping experience is an advantage
• Forklift licence is an advantage
• A driving licence is also an advantage
• Basic knowledge of English and/or Maltese
• Willingness to learn
