🍊✨ Ceci’s Kitchen – Swedish Ambrosia Cake ✨🍊
This is one of my most loved cakes — a true Swedish classic that I’ve been baking for years.
Ambrosia Cake is a buttery sponge cake made with fresh orange juice and zest, then topped with frosting and my own candied orange peel. It’s soft, light, and delicately fragrant with citrus — comforting yet elegant.
The photos are close to my heart: one taken in my dad’s garden in Norway, the other during a family gathering at my mom’s house in Finland. Wherever I’ve shared this cake, it’s been a favourite — the kind of cake that disappears quickly and always brings people together 💛.
