We finally tried Jesse's Carreta.! What a cool place! Decked out from floor to ceiling, colorful and fun! We had, owner Jesse, as our server. You can feel the energy and happiness coming off of him! Great service with a smile and a laugh!
We started with a complimentary serving of chips and salsa. The salsa was excellent! For our entrees my wife had the Enchilada’s Pollo with rice and beans. So good! I had the Torta Del Rey served warm and overstuffed with lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, sliced chicken breasts (pechuga), asada, sliced sausage (salchica), ham, bacon and melty cheese! One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had!
Side note; Jesse started his culinary journey selling hot dogs in front of our church Family of God / Familia de Díos five plus years ago!
