Our story is about good food made fresh and affordable.

Our story starts off with a simple idea. The idea to share a plate of gastronomic delight with you made using fresh ingredients, skilfully prepared and cooked to perfection by our talented chef.

Our dishes ranging from starter, main and sides are derived from recognizable western dishes but enhanced via different perspective of taste through infusions of Asian touches and spices. The creation of Galanggal Café delicious menu is carefully crafted by our very own talented chef, Chef Fikri Jalil.

Having started his journey in the culinary world by working under the tutelage and hand-in-hand with numerous talented Head Chefs in many well-known five stars kitchen in Kuala Lumpur, Chef Fikri Jalil is very well-versed in the art of cooking. His passion includes pickling, fermentation, smoking, dry aging and curing meats as well as producing home made sausages and pastrami. Not shy in modifying and experimenting with flavours, the combination of passion and skills is definitely a delicous advantage in creating a recognizable taste for Galanggal Café.
