SOMETIMES, YOU JUST WANT RICE. 🍚

Not burger.
Not fries.
Just a proper bowl of warm rice with something rich and comforting on top. 😂

So… we made three.

Dark, savoury and aromatic, with a rich flavour that goes especially well with warm rice.

🥩 Nasi Daging Rendang Istimewa
Tender beef coated in rich rendang — hearty, comforting and definitely one for the rendang lovers.

🍗 Nasi Ayam Rendang Istimewa
Chicken cooked with that familiar, rich rendang flavour. Simple, comforting and very senang makan.

Three bowls. Three different cravings.

A LITTLE DAY OUT FOR 𝙏𝙊𝙍𝙊 𝙏𝙊𝙍𝙊. ❤️

Last Saturday, we stepped out of our usual kitchen and spent the day at Tunku Putra-HELP Family Day. 👀

From setting up in the morning to serving food, meeting families, seeing the kids running around and sharing plenty of little moments along the way — it was a different kind of busy day for our team.

We brought some of our TORO TORO favourites along, but more importantly, we got to be part of a day filled with family, laughter and good energy. 🫶🏻

It was nice seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, and watching our food become part of someone’s Family Day.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hello, grabbed a bite and spent a little time with us. ❤️

And to the Tunku Putra-HELP team, thank you for having us!

SATURDAY PLANS? WE’VE GOT ONE FOR YOU. 👀

Tomorrow, we’re taking 𝙏𝙊𝙍𝙊 𝙏𝙊𝙍𝙊 out of the shop for the day! 🙌🏻

Our team will be at Tunku Putra-HELP Family Day, and since it’s a day for families, we wanted to bring along something that both adults and kids can enjoy. ❤️

So we’ve prepared a little bit of everything:

🍚 Nasi Lemak — something filling to start the day
🍪 House-made Cookies — easy to snack on while walking around
🍍 Taiwanese-style Pineapple Cakes — a little sweet treat to bring home
🥤 Freshly Prepared Drinks — including some of our TORO TORO favourites
🥪 Plus a few more family-friendly bites!

Everything will be prepared in limited batches for the event, so once they’re gone… they’re gone. 👀

This Mid-Autumn, we sat down with Shirley Chai to taste some of the mooncakes we’ve been making this season. 🤍

Loved over the past three years, it returns once again for our fourth Mid-Autumn.

Golden, crumbly pastry. Rich filling. Salted egg yolk inside.
