It's fascinating to explore this over-100-year-old "castle". From squeezing through narrow spiral staircases and discovering underground rooms to walking along the rooftop edges and wandering around the ruined walls, there was something exciting at every turn. The history and stories behind this place alone make it well worth a visit.

Weather so hot still go hot springโ€ฆ are we crazy? The answer is yes! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Planned for a waterfall trip, but it was closed for maintenance. Since we were already in our swimsuits, we detoured to the nearby hot springs instead.

We felt kinda dumb the moment we touched the water ๐Ÿคญ. But since we already paid the entrance fee, might as well try to enjoy it anyway ๐Ÿ˜…

Pretty sure the water wasnโ€™t THIS hot when we came a couple of years ago. Maybe the heat wave upgraded the hot spring now ๐Ÿซ

This Buddhist temple is tucked away in a very remote area. It takes quite a drive from the main road to get there, and the last stretch is just a narrow single-lane road shared by both directions. But the place is peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by mountains and forest.

The magnificent stone-carved sleeping Buddha rests peacefully in front of a large and simple temple. Since the area is still under development, there isnโ€™t much else to see. Maybe weโ€™ll come back again in a couple of years and see what new attractions have been added.
