POV: starting a matcha business (pt 4)

So much has happened since our last update!

To sum it up:

- new outlets
- new products
- more events
- bigger team

one year later, we’re still a very small team trying our best to disrupt the matcha industry in Malaysia

still working towards the same belief that good quality matcha shouldn’t be expensive

still as motivated as we first started, all thanks to your support, your encouragement, and everyone who continues to believe in what we’re building.

Some of the decisions we make don’t make much sense on paper

• we air freight our matcha instead of shipping by sea
• we keep our oat milk upgrade at RM1
• we’ve never run any promotion on our website

None of these are easy decisions But we’ve always believed that trust is built by delivering the best value we can to our community (you)

If you keep coming back because our matcha tastes good, the quality stays consistent, and the price feels fair, then we think we’re doing something right ✨

Our goal has never been to sell the cheapest matcha, but to make really good matcha as accessible as possible

and that mission is only possible with you being part of the community 💚
