Matcha heaven found in Penang? 🍵👀

Woody at Armenian Street might be one of our new favourite spots for matcha!

We tried the refreshing CoCo Cha, Strawberry Matcha, Hoji-Matcha, Yuzu Matcha and Gen Evening — each with its own unique combination of matcha, hojicha, genmaicha and fruity flavours. 😮‍💨

They also have super cute Korean-style handcrafted macarons, toast and other desserts to pair with your drinks.

NGL, their matcha is definitely one of our favourites in Penang right now. 🍵💚

London’s iconic Burger & Lobster Malaysia has officially landed in Penang! 🦞🍔

Located at Kimberley Street, George Town, they’re bringing their signature burgers and live Canadian lobsters straight to the island.

We had the Combo for Two, which comes with whole lobster, Mayfair Burger, Lobster Roll, B&L Fries and more — perfect for trying all their signatures at once! We also tried the spicy Atomic Burger and the Lobster Laksa, a local twist with sweet lobster meat in a rich, spicy coconut broth. 😮‍💨

Ended with their Pistachio Chocolate Mousse and honestly, what a meal.

Teck Ban Choon (120+ Years)

With more than 120 years of history, Teck Ban Choon was once a traditional blacksmith workshop known for producing metalwork and handmade anchors.

Today, the space has been transformed into a cosy heritage café while preserving elements of its blacksmithing past.

From the old tools and workshop details to the murals painted around the café, every corner tells a story of Penang’s history.

The café now serves familiar Penang local food, allowing visitors to enjoy a meal while experiencing the atmosphere of an old heritage workshop.
