Cocktails, music, cars and good vibes — PCW Cocktail Garden 2026 was such a fun one! 🍸🎶🚗

We spent weekend at Hin Bus Depot for Penang Cocktail Week, checking out cocktail pop-up booths featuring both local and international cocktail bars, with live music and DJ performances throughout the event.

And yes, our ticket came with 1 complimentary cocktail! 🍹

We also checked out the BYD brand experience, including their V2L technology, which can turn the EV into a portable power source. They even used it to power up the BYD light box pillar!

Plus, we got to see automotive artist Remus Chang Supremus showcase his work. 🎨🚗

A pretty unique mix of cocktails, creativity and automotive culture all in one place!

Matcha lovers, there’s a new spot to check out in Taman Lip Sin! 🍵👀

Matcho Matcha Bar has relocated from George Town to a cosy little space tucked under a flat. ✨

They’re serving good quality matcha, including Marukyu Koyamaen, plus cakes and cookies to pair with your drink.

🔥 An evening of fire, food and good company at LEÑA at Pizzeria in Batu Ferringhi.

Inspired by the Spanish word for firewood, LEÑA brings wood-fired cooking, Mediterranean-inspired flavours and a warm, relaxed atmosphere together — with Batu Ferringhi’s sunset as the backdrop. 🌅

From the fire and cooking process to dishes made for sharing, it’s an experience that feels just right for a long dinner with your favourite people.

Craving authentic Hunan flavours in Penang? 🌶️🔥

We’re back at Xiang Yue Restaurant (湘约中国菜馆) at Ivory Plaza, and honestly, we still love their food!

This round, we tried their Steamed Spare Ribs with Glutinous Rice & Corn, Rattan Pepper Fish Soup, Claypot Frog & Prawns, Deep-Fried Thin-Sliced Potatoes, Salted Egg Yolk Chicken with Crackers and Casserole Green Beans. 🤤

The flavours are bold, fragrant and super appetising — especially when paired with a bowl of rice!

They’ve also launched their new Secret Recipe Braised Pork Belly, but remember to pre-order this one!

And if you love braised dishes, they now have a large pot of braised dishes where you can choose your favourite beef, chicken, pork, duck and vegetables.
