Adapted from the expression "Pretty please with a cherry on top". When we wanted something very badly, we wouldn't just say, "Please!" After several repeated requests, we would say, "Pretty please with a cherry on top!"

We were trying to be as polite and insistent as we could be at the same time. The phrase "... with a cherry on top" comes, of course, from the practice of finishing off desserts w

ith a nice maraschino cherry on top of the whipping cream. The cherry is that final touch that makes the dessert special! We used the "cherry on top" with our request to try to do the same. pretty please.. we are begging you to try our treats.. with cherry on top, of course :D
