Sapporo is the first beer in Japan, founded in 1876. The legend of our beer began with the adventurous spirit of Seibei Nakagawa, Japan's first German-trained brewmaster. A fusion of Eastern and Western cultures has been at the heart of the Sapporo brand since our humble beginnings. On the quest to create t
