If you love using essential oils for wellness, this simple test reveals what is really in your bottle.
In the video, a few drops were placed on paper tissue. Here is what I spot right away:
Artificial Dyes: Notice that bright green ring?
Pure essential oils do not leave bright, synthetic color rings. That tint means artificial dyes or colorants were added.
Solvents & Fillers: Pure essential oils consist of volatile compounds that evaporate completely over time. A permanent oily stain or outer ring points to synthetic solvents, heavy fixatives, or compromised carrier oils.
Clear Glass Packaging:
Essential oils are highly sensitive to light and deteriorate quickly when exposed. High-quality, pure oils should always be stored in dark amber or cobalt blue glass bottles to protect their therapeutic benefits.
Why does this matter?
Using synthetic or adulterated fragrance oils won't give you the therapeutic benefits of true aromatherapy—and can sometimes even cause skin irritation or respiratory discomfort.
