"Arrabiata" means angry in Italian, and this sauce earns its name. Penne wrestled into a fiery tomato sugo of garlic, sun-ripe tomatoes and red chilli peppers — the kind of fierce, honest red sauce the Romans build their reputations on. Bold, bright, a little reckless. Each dish comes with a side portion of "Parmesan Cheese" to make it even more indulgent. The pasta that wakes up the palate ... and table!

An all-time family favourite. Ikan Tenggiri (Spanish Mackeral) and potatoes folded with aromatic spices and herbs, breaded, and slow-fried until golden. Eaten with hot rice or simply on it’s own. Every mouthful is a labour of patience and love. Made the way Grandma taught me!

Folks often ask me, "Charlene, why Italian?"

Well ... The short answer is - is my favourite cuisine!

I often joke that if I were ever on death row, and the warden asked me what I'd like for my last meal?

My answer (with no hesitation whatsoever) ... PASTAAAAAA !!!!!!! 😬

Due to my love for the culture, the people, the cuisine ... the that Italians are known for ~ I taught myself how to master the art of authentic Italian cuisine ... With a little help along the way of course!

6 months after I launched "Charlene's Indian Wok" - my maiden brand ... I knew I had to next pour my heart and soul into what is now called "Charlene's Italian Flavors"! 🇮🇹
