🌊 Voice from the Ground: Shaping a Nature-Positive Future at the Sabah Impact Summit 2026! 🦐🌱
We are incredibly honored to have participated in the Sabah Impact Summit 2026, held at The Magellan Sutera Harbour Resort, Kota Kinabalu on 13–14 July.
As a pioneer in sustainable aquaculture, Sankina Aquaculture was proud to share our journey, milestones, and vision for a greener, more resilient Sabah.
Day 1: Pitching Our Vision
Our Managing Director, Ms. Jenny Ou kicked off the summit on the first day with an impactful pitching session, highlighting how we are redefining aquaculture standards and driving economic growth through responsible practices.
Day 2: Marine Ecosystem & Blue Economy Panel
On the second day, Ms. Jenny Ou took the stage as one of a panelist for the Marine Ecosystem & Blue Economy session.
She shared our real-world experiences in balancing commercial aquaculture with deep ecological responsibility.
Key highlights of her sharing included:
🌱 Our Mangrove Restoration Efforts: How actively restoring and conserving mangroves around our sites is safeguarding vital coastal buffer zones.
🌱 A Haven for Biodiversity: The amazing reality of how our restored habitats have successfully attracted diverse migratory birds and enriched local avian biodiversity.
🌱 Fostering a Nature-Positive Ecosystem: The tangible, positive impacts of our ASC, MyGAP certified operations on the surrounding environment and local communities.
Building a nature-positive farm isn't just about minimizing footprint, it's about actively giving back to the ecosystem that sustains us.
