A little slice of paradise on the farm. 🖤🎥🌾

Look at that green! The horses are loving this weather almost as much as I love watching them move. Caught this moment from above with the drone, just a few of the Onyx crew trotting off to explore.

There is something about watching them in action, manes and tails in the wind, knowing these are the horses that will carry my dream forward. Strong hooves. Gentle hearts. And apparently, zero interest in being filmed by a flying robot. 😂

Meet the newest members of the Onyx family! 🖤🐴

Yesterday, these two beautiful ladies arrived, and my heart is so full.

On the left we have Lillibet (2 years old) and on the right Maya (3 years old). They come all the way from Cilliers Appaloosas Stud, and while they are still a little shy as they settle into their new home, I can already see the gentle souls hiding behind those curious eyes.

We only met yesterday, so we are taking it slow, giving them time to trust, time to adjust, and time to realize they are home now.

But I am so excited for the journey ahead. Watching them blossom, building that bond, and knowing that one day they will be mamas to the next generation of Onyx Appaloosas... it's a dream taking shape right in front of me.

Welcome home, girls. Take all the time you need. 🖤

I am truly overwhelmed by your kindness and trust in me. To receive these words from someone I admire so much in the Appaloosa world means more than you know.

Maya and Lillibet have already stolen my heart and are settling right in. They are absolutely perfect, and I promise to love and care for them as they prepare for their future as Onyx dams.

Thank you for believing in this girl's dream. I am so excited to be part of the AHBSN family and to watch our Appaloosa community grow.

This handsome goofball is the reason I fell down the Appaloosa rabbit hole and never looked back.

Meet Joey, my 4-year-old gelding, professional cuddle monster, and soon-to-be riding partner when he deigns to start working for a living.

Personality highlights include:
🍏 Zero sense of personal space (personal boundaries? never heard of 'em)
🍏 Demanding scratches 24/7 like it's his full-time job
🍏 Believing he is a lapdog trapped in a horse's body
🍏 Looking ridiculously handsome while doing absolutely all of the above

He is the heart of Onyx Appaloosa Stud and the reason I knew this breed was something special. Sweet, silly, and soon to be saddle-ready.
