There are bulls you admire… and then there are bulls that become part of your story.

Khan was one of those bulls for us at 𝑨𝒍𝒇𝒂 𝑩𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒆. From the moment he walked into the herd, he left a lasting impression — not only through his incredible capacity, spring of rib, masculinity and presence, but through the consistency and quality he stamped into his progeny.

He was extensively used in breeding programmes across South Africa, and it is easy to see why. Khan carried the kind of genetics that quietly shape a breed for generations.

This simple water demonstration over his back perfectly showed the depth, width and natural capacity that made him such a remarkable Boran sire.

Today, his influence still runs strongly through the Alfa Borane herd and in many herds across the country. His legacy lives on in every powerful, functional animal carrying his bloodline.
