WE ARE HIRING!

Emiron Poultry Farm is looking for an experienced Poultry Farmer to join our team.

We are looking for someone who genuinely understands poultry farming and can confidently handle the day-to-day management of a farm.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in:
• Layer management
• Feeding and water management
• Vaccination and medication
• Monitoring bird health and performance
• Maintaining proper farm hygiene and biosecurity
• Keeping accurate farm records
• Identifying and reporting problems early

Who we are looking for
A hardworking, responsible, trustworthy and experienced person who can work with minimal supervision and take the welfare of the birds seriously.

⚠️ Please note: This position is for an experienced poultry farmer. We are not looking for someone who is just starting out or looking to learn on the job.

Location: Egbelu Umuocham, Aba, Abia State

Brooding Requires More Than Just Putting Chicks Under Heat 🐥

Brooding requires enough time, accurate calculations and carefulness. It is one of the most important stages in poultry farming because the decisions you make during the first few weeks can affect the birds for the rest of their lives.

You have to pay attention to temperature, ventilation, stocking density, water, feeding, lighting, litter management and the general behaviour of the chicks.

Don’t just follow what another farmer is doing. Your number of chicks, brooding space, weather condition and equipment may be different, so your calculations must be based on your own birds and environment.

A successful brooding period doesn’t happen by luck. It comes from preparation, observation and consistency.
