Know the difference between hatchery and breed

Choosing the right breed is one of the most impactful decisions you will make as a layer farmer. The wrong breed, even with perfect management, costs you money every single day in lower egg numbers, poor shell quality, or wasted feed.

Hatchery vs. Breed

HATCHERY
CHI, Amo, Zartec, Agrited, these are company that hatches and sells pullets.

BREED
ISA Brown, Hy-Line Brown
these are genetic strain of birds

Always ask what breed not just Which hatchery.
