Our CEO, Mrs Victoria Andy spoke on the topic: How to build, scale and sustain a successful business at the Media and Business Master class organised by the Hillside Reporters led by Comrade Abasiono Dan.

The teaching reference was our farm, Aviclaire Farms. Beyond building a model farm, Aviclaire Farms is also building a viable business.

She spoke on non-negotiable accountability, record keeping, quality management systems as well as strategic planning, financial discipline, and consistent value delivery to customers.

These are the fundamentals that separate a business that lasts from one that simply starts up, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share this at the Master class.

Our CEO, Mrs. Victoria Andy, served as Keynote Speaker at the inauguration of the Local Government Coordinators of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) in Akwa Ibom State, under the leadership of Mrs Philomena Ntuen, AFAN State Chairman, speaking on "Enhancing Food Security through Rural Farmers' Participation: Assessing the ARISE Agenda in Akwa Ibom State."

In her address, Mrs. Victoria Eyo highlighted the indispensable role of rural farmers in strengthening food security and driving sustainable agricultural development, examining how grassroots farmers contribute to the food production chain, and reflecting on the implementation and future prospects of the ARISE Agenda of His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, Governor of Akwa Ibom State, particularly as it relates to agriculture and rural development.

A key message: farmers must be at the centre, not the periphery, of agricultural policies and programmes, empowered to actively shape and implement the initiatives that affect their own livelihoods, not merely receive support handed down to them.

The address closed with a call for stronger collaboration between government and rural farming communities, affirming that sustainable food security and agricultural transformation must begin from the grassroots.

Yesterday, our CEO Mrs. Victoria Andy delivered the keynote address at the One-Day Capacity Building Workshop on Effective Farm Records Management, organised by the Akwa Ibom State Local Government Service Commission in collaboration with Viconsult Management Services, bringing together Agricultural Officers from all 31 Local Government Areas.

Speaking on “The Role of Agricultural Officers in Monitoring and Evaluation of Agricultural Programmes and Projects for Effective Records Management" she reminded officers that their records are more than paperwork, they're the proof that determines which farmers get seen, which communities get funded, and which programmes get to grow.

Drawing from her own experience with Aviclaire Farms, she shared how consistent tracking of planting cycles, yields, and costs has turned farming from guesswork into strategy, and challenged officers to bring that same discipline to their LGAs.

Her charge to them was simple: document it, measure it, and watch Akwa Ibom's agricultural future become fundable and unstoppable.
