So, my girls started a discussion around how I save contacts on my phone. And the first person to 'collect' was 'Phart-Fish Mica'. I was like, that's what she calls herself just the way I'm Basty. And I added Mica because that's where I knew her from,
Then, they moved on 'Philosopher King'🤣 And then one said, Mummy got the contact of a Bayleaves seller and added Bayleaves to his name.
Me... I can't be looking for what I used to save the name now. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I'll put our circumstances of meeting as prefix or suffix to your name🤣

As they want to kuku finish me patapata, one said, just search for any profession on her phone, you will see! Electrician, Mechanic, Bike man nko! That one is plenty🤣

Abeg make dem no kill me, because I can't kill myself trying to remember somebody's name. By the time I put your profession, we will find your name on the list🤣

Last night, I taught my younger daughter how to make Semo like a classroom teacher.

The measurements, the steps, the consistency and even the plating 😍... I mean, the adding of oil to the round spoon to give that fine, round swallow look. Yes, we took longer time than if I had to make it while she watched but I'm sure her confidence on this particular task would be on a higher level and her shoulder pad will be raised higher🤣

Well, let's get to the recipe. A cup of Semo is made with 2.5 cups of water. So, if you're doing 2 cups of Semo, you double the recipe and so on. A cup of raw Semo flour will give you about 3 scoops of cooked Semo which is okay for an adult who eats moderately.
Asides using this to get a perfect consistency of Semo that is not too soft or too hard, it also helps me prevent food wastage or even shortage.

To get the perfect consistency of this Yellow Eba, use a part of Yellow Garri to 2 parts of boiling water.
