My name is Yetunde Basirat Oyebanjo. Popularly known as Basty. I founded Basty foods almost 18yrs ago when I relocated to Abuja and I had bought different versions of fake Ijebu Garri till I decided I wasn't doing again. By the way, I'm a full blooded indigene of Ijebu Ode, so, if I tell you I know what grade 1 Ijebu Garri is, I definitely know what I'm saying.
As a 9 to 8ver then, who loves to eat home made food, I understood what it means to reduce your food preparation and cooking time as much as possible.
As a born Lagosian, I understood the deep joy of finding Tapioca in the North or Lagos snacks like Kokoro in Abuja. That feeling of home in a far away land...
As a Queen who wears many crowns over the last 20yrs of my life, as a mum, a business owner, a career person, a sister, a friend and more... I can tell you for free, that life is indeed in seasons and sometimes all you want to do, is survive.
