Celebrating the 2nd Anniversary of the National Union of Dispatch Riders and Mail Operators of Nigeria May 18Th 2026,
On May 18, 2026, the National Union of Dispatch Riders and Mail Operators of Nigeria (NUDRMON) marks two years of organized advocacy, solidarity, and tangible progress for thousands of riders and mail operators across the country. From a modest beginning to a recognized national voice, NUDRMON has proven that when workers stand together, their rights, safety, and livelihoods can no longer be ignored.
*1. Standing Firm: Defending Members in Legal Cases*
One of NUDRMON’s defining achievements in the last two years has been its unwavering legal defense of members facing unjust treatment. The union has intervened in multiple cases involving wrongful arrests, unfair fines, and harassment by clients and enforcement agents. By providing legal representation and engaging with law enforcement and regulatory bodies, NUDRMON has secured the release and exoneration of several members, setting precedents that protect all dispatch riders and mail operators.
This commitment sends a clear message: no NUDRMON member fights alone. The union’s legal desk has become a shield for workers who, for too long, had no one to speak for them.

NUDRMON has consistently defended the right of its members to healthcare and fair labor practices.
