beef stew recipe (this one is simple anyone can make it❤️)

Ingredients:
1 kg beef chuck, cut into cubes
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 carrots, sliced
3 potatoes, cubed
2 celery stalks, chopped
2 tbsp tomato paste
4 cups beef broth
1 cup red wine (optional)
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp rosemary
2 bay leaves
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp flour (optional for thickening)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Brown the beef: Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Season the beef with salt and pepper, then brown the cubes on all sides. Remove and set aside.

Cook the veggies: In the same pot, add onions, garlic, carrots, and celery. Sauté until soft, about 5 minutes.

Add tomato paste: Stir in tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes to enhance the flavor.

Deglaze and simmer: Pour in red wine (if using) and beef broth, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the pot. Add the browned beef back in, along with potatoes, thyme, rosemary, and bay leaves.

Cook low and slow: Bring the stew to a boil, then lower the heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 2-3 hours, or until the beef is tender. Stir occasionally.

Thicken the stew: If you'd like a thicker stew, mix 2 tbsp of flour with a bit of water and stir it into the pot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.

Serve: Remove bay leaves, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.

Enjoy your rich, comforting beef stew!
