Let me tell you how Indomie moves in my shop πŸ˜‚

For the carton of Indomie, I usually sell around ₦9,800–₦10,000, depending on the person buying.

Super Pack β€” I sell some by carton, but most times, I sell them one-one.

Bellefull β€” I don’t usually sell this one by carton. Not because I don’t want to πŸ˜…, but because it moves faster when I sell it one-one.

But Standard Pack? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

One carton can stay in my shop for one month and still be looking at me. It just doesn’t move!

So, fellow provision sellers, which Indomie size moves fastest in your shop? πŸ‘€

Do you remember to eat on your restocking days? πŸ˜‚

Because me, I hardly remember to eat! 😩

From going to the market, checking prices, buying goods, carrying things, arranging everything and trying to get back home… before I know it, evening don reach. πŸ˜‚

Honestly, on most of my restocking days, I eat just once. One square meal for the whole day. πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

Is anybody else like this? When you go for restocking, do you eat normally or you also forget to eat like me? πŸ˜‚

Be honest o! πŸ‘‡

One day, something happened that I thought was unfortunate, but today I’m actually grateful it happened. πŸ˜‚

I was coming back from restocking when one of my loaves of bread fell down. It had rained, and unfortunately, one side of the bread got wet from the rain. 😩

I couldn’t sell it like that, so I removed it from the bag, cut off the part the rain touched, then cut the bread into smaller pieces. I put the pieces inside transparent nylon and displayed them.

Guess what? People started buying it! πŸ˜³πŸ˜‚

Before I knew it, customers started asking for the cut bread.

That was how I discovered another simple way to attract customers. Something that looked like a loss at first actually opened my eyes to another opportunity.

Sometimes, what looks like a setback can teach you something you never planned for. ❀️

Have you ever experienced something like this in your business β€” something that happened by mistake but later turned into an opportunity?

Rice dealers, abeg come and help me out. πŸ˜‚πŸš

Is it true that there is a particular season when rice price usually comes down?

What time of the year do you think is the best time to buy rice for restocking or storage?

For those who have been dealing in rice for a while, when does rice usually become cheaper in the market?

And when do you think is the best time to stock up?

Please share your experience in the comments. πŸ‘‡πŸ½
Let’s help each other in this business. ❀️

β€œI sold this one to you because you are my customer.” πŸ˜©πŸ˜‚

Let me tell you what happened to me yesterday.

I wanted to buy oat milk, and I got it for ₦4,000. Later, when I got to the market, I met my regular vendor and he told me he would sell it to me for ₦3,700 because I’m his customer. He even said he doesn’t give that price to everybody. 😍

I was happy ooo. I thought, β€œAt least, I have saved ₦300.” πŸ˜‚

I carried my goods and went to where I normally pack them. Fortunately, I saw another person selling the same oat milk there.

I priced it…

₦3,500! πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

That was when I learned my small lesson.

Sometimes, a vendor can make you feel like you are getting a special price, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it is the best price.

Lesson: No matter how much you trust your vendor, PRICE-CHECK. Ask around. Do your market survey. Don’t assume you are getting the best deal because someone says, β€œThis price is only for you.” πŸ˜‚

Business will humble you if you don’t ask questions. πŸ˜…

Have you ever bought something thinking you got a good deal, only to see it cheaper somewhere else? Tell me your experience. πŸ‘‡
