Armed bandits have killed a young man named Abba, whom they abducted in Zamfara State, after the community raised and paid N10 million as ransom. The kidnappers initially released a video beating him and demanding payment, then accepted the money but refused to release him, insisting on three additional motorcycles. Tragically, they later called to announce that they had executed the victim despite receiving the funds.
A funeral prayer Salatul Ga'ib(funeral without the co**se) is expected to be held for him tomorrow, Friday, at Premier Road in Gusau town. Both Hausa Rariya and Mikiya Hausa blogging pages reported the heartbreaking development, with widespread calls for justice and prayers: "Allah ya gafarta masa" – May Allah forgive him and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.
