How To Attain Maximum Profit from Rabbit Meat

Do you know that the secret to making more profit in any business is to give and add value?

As a rabbit farmer, how can you add value through rabbit meat production?

The two ways you can do that are:

Production
Packaging

Production of Rabbit Meat

Here are some things to note:

1.Production Quality

*Rabbit breed for meat production:opt for breeds like New Zealand and Chincilla, which are known for their meat-producing quality.

*Organic farming: practice pure organic meat production free of preservatives or drugs that speed up their weight gain. Organic meat is more beneficial to health than inorganic.

2. Production quantity: This will depend on your breeding stock (rabbits that are giving birth) and when the rabbits reach maturity to be sold off as meat. If you have 10 DOES, you’ll get about 60 rabbits, and it will take about 4 months for each rabbit to reach an average weight of 2-3kg. Also, after killing, it's expected that they lose about 0.5-1kg of weight.

3. Standard Hygienic Slaightering: Follow the standard method to ensure the head and all furs are totally removed. This is very easy and shouldn't take more than 10 minutes.

You can also separate the carcass (bone) from the meat to give it more value. Remove all traces of blood and freeze.

*Why rabbit farming will make you rich*

Do you know that rabbit meat is not the only profitable part of the rabbit? In fact, all parts of the rabbit, even the byproducts, are highly profitable.

Here are ways to make money from rabbit farming.

1. *Rabbit meat:* This type of white meat has more health benefits than turkey because it has low cholesterol, fat, and sodium, which makes it a better meat substitute for diabetic and hypertensive patients.
2. *Rabbit urine:* Rabbit urine is a rich source of NPK fertilizer; it contains nitrogen, phosporus, potassium, sulfur, calcium, and magnesium. It can also be used as a pesticide to control pests. This can be sold to crop farmers as a cheaper substitute for NPK fertilizers.

*3.Rabbit f***s:* It can be used as farm manure on farmland, therefore it can be sold to crop farmers.

*4.Rabbit fur:* it can be sold off to fashion industries for making hats, coats, and other fur products.

This means you can create multiple streams of income from just rabbit farming alone with little or no cost at all.

Imagine a life where you never go a day without having white meat in your meal or that of your family.

Everyday can be a festive period in your home where you can devour the sweet, succulent, and fresh taste of white meat.

You don't have to wait until Christmas, New Year's, or birthdays to enjoy your life because you can't afford the high cost of white meat.

The best way to ensure you have an all-year-long white meat supply for your family is to venture into rabbit farming.

Rabbit farming is easy to venture into, even for a novice. With little guidance and capital as low as #10,000, you can start your rabbit business today.

Rabbit farming is easy and convenient to manage in terms of the care of the rabbits and the environment.

Rabbits have a high multiplication rate; they give birth to an average of 6 rabbits per birth, and this can happen five times a year.
That means you can get 30 rabbits a year from one rabbit, and from 10 rabbits, you get 300 rabbits, which is almost a year's supply of meat.

The cost of rabbit feed is relatively low because only 10–25% of their feed is pellet.

85% can be gotten free from the environment, like grasses, yams, potato peels, carrot leaves, etc.

Imagine killing at least one rabbit every day for your family. You'll never have to rant about no meat or ration meat with the family again.

The best part is that rabbit meat is sweeter and more beneficial to health than chicken or turkey.
